11:59 Tracklisting

Amazon.com recently updated the 11:59 page….to include a tracklisting for the album!

Pretty much what I figured it would be, with the exception of Somebody’s Son. Liza over at watercoolerconvo says it will likely be on a deluxe version of the album. But either way, this is DEFINITELY a solid album. The only song we (well most of us) haven’t heard is Start A Fire (along with the retooled version of LYM), so it’s pretty safe to say this will be one of those albums you can listen to straight through without skipping a track!

11:59 Release Set for 8/3!

We finally have a solid release date! If you’ve been following RSF, then you know that we had a bunch of “rumored” release dates last year, most of which came from Amazon. But now we’re hearing from the man himself that 11:59 will be released on August 3rd, 2010. Ryan tweeted about it this morning, and an official press release for the drop date can be found at RStar.net. The release also talks about how “Breathe” is doing on the charts (and I’m actually going to start posting a weekly chart watch here on the blog).

Additionally, Ryan is planning an album release show on the same day in NYC. That is going to be one amazing show! I wish I wasn’t completely on the other side of the country.

11:59 Dropping In 2010

I’ve posted a couple of times about the release date of Ryan’s album being pushed back, with most of the information coming from Amazon. Yesterday, he tweeted to a fan that his album will actually not be released until the new year:

So there you have it. As much as I DO want to hear the new album, I think Atlantic is waiting for a single to pick up on radio, which is a smart way of doing things.

Album Delayed…Again

Thanks to Shane for pointing this out to me. I just changed the album release date from late June to July a couple of weeks ago, and it looks like I’m changing it again; Amazon.com now has 11:59 slated for a September 15th release. I’m really wondering why, since it sounded like the album was done a while ago. Perhaps they’re waiting for the single to take off even more?

In the meantime, don’t forget to get the Last Train Home EP from either Amazon or iTunes to hold you over.

Last Train Home 4 Track EP Drops June 16th

Great news! Even though Ryan’s CD has been pushed back to July 28th, we’re getting a preview of the album next week. He announced yesterday on his blog and twitter that the “Last Train home” EP will be released on June 16th. The EP will have four tracks and anyone who buys it will get the entire album at a cheaper price once it’s released.

Here’s an excerpt about it from RStar.net:

In other exciting news, I know so many of you have been awaiting 11:59 for a very long time now. I am happy to announce that I am releasing 4 songs from the upcoming release in the form of the “Last Train Home EP.” It will be available on June 16th at iTunes and your other favorite online retailers. When the album officially comes out, you will be able to complete the album at a reduced price. I am so excited to have you finally able to have some of the songs that have been popping up out there, so here is a sneak peek at 11:59. Enjoy it and please let me know what you think.

So, we know Right Now and Last Train Home are a part of the tracklisting, which means there are two mystery tracks. I’m thinking it will be “This Will Be the Year” and “Brand New Day”.
