Listen For “Breathe” On the SYTYCD? Finale Tonight

Those of you on the West Coast can still keep a heads up for this! Ryan’s song “Breathe” is featured as one of the goodbye songs on tonights So You Think You Can Dance? finale (one of my favorite shows!). This is BIG! I’ll post more details after it airs here, and hopefully video soon.

ETA: Breathe was played as a part of Ellenore’s elimination on last nights show. Working on getting video!

“Breathe” Video Premiere

Actually, this is more of a video leak; the folks over at 96.9 Wink FM managed to find the video for “Breathe”. The video officially premieres tomorrow on CNN.com at 2pm EST. And Ryan also mentioned in his latest blog that he’ll sit down for an interview about the video first, and he’ll talk a bit more about Breathe4Jobs.com, a new website that will launch after the premiere tomorrow.

It’s really amazing to see Ryan use his music for such a great cause; it’s great how he’s tying the two together seamlessly. The video is powerful, goes with the song well and even makes the song more poignant. This is definitely my favorite of his videos so far!

Last Train Home 4 Track EP Drops June 16th

Great news! Even though Ryan’s CD has been pushed back to July 28th, we’re getting a preview of the album next week. He announced yesterday on his blog and twitter that the “Last Train home” EP will be released on June 16th. The EP will have four tracks and anyone who buys it will get the entire album at a cheaper price once it’s released.

In other exciting news, I know so many of you have been awaiting 11:59 for a very long time now. I am happy to announce that I am releasing 4 songs from the upcoming release in the form of the “Last Train Home EP.” It will be available on June 16th at iTunes and your other favorite online retailers. So, we know Right Now and Last Train Home are a part of the tracklisting, which means there are two mystery tracks. I’m thinking it will be “This Will Be the Year” and “Brand New Day”.

“Right Now” On The Philanthropist NBC Promos

I’ve been hearing Ryan’s music everywhere recently, but NBC especially loves to use his songs in their promo’s. Right now they’re airing ads for their new summer show The Philanthropist, which features Ryan’s song “Right Now”. That song is so anthemic it just fits everything perfectly!

“We Might Fall” On One Life To Live

Ryan’s music really is EVERYWHERE. Just this weekend I heard “Right Now” on a commercial (but I’m not sure what show it was for because I was in the next room). This is a couple of weeks old, but still worth watching. One Life To Live did an entire montage to “We Might Fall”, and it’s a different version of the song that I haven’t heard before.

Full Studio Verson of “Brand New Day”

I was searching around on youtube today and found this, a full studio version of the song “Brand New Day”, which just might be my favorite song from Ryan’s upcoming album (that, LTH and TCBTY). And in case you didn’t know, it’s the title track on the FOX show “Lie to Me”.

This version sounds great, and I still love the acoustic version:

Ryan posted a blog about this a couple days ago, but for those who didn’t catch it already have another shot next week. Be sure to check out the opening credits for the new FOX show Lie To Me, which airs on FOX Thursdays. Ryan’s song “Brand New Day” isn’t just featured on the show, it’s on the opening credits! Seriously, that’s huge, and I’m so glad his people are doing such a good job at getting his music out there.

Watch “Right Now”

I think the video looks GREAT, and that song is oh so catchy! It should do really well on radio.

“Right Now” Video Premiere On Monday!

Ryan just posted a myspace bulletin saying his video to “Right Now” is premiering this coming Monday at 8pm (I’m guessing thats EST?) on RStar.net! He’s also holding a web chat within the hour. Can not wait. And I’ll definitely be posting it here as well as soon as it’s available.

“This Could Be the Year” On WWE

John Cena is making his comeback to the WWE, and the smart people at the wrestling federation decided to use Ryan’s song “This Could Be the Year” as a part of it. I’m betting this is the first of MANY times we see Ryan’s music featured on TV. You can catch the show when it reairs at these times:

* November 21, Friday Night Smackdown (Friday/8pm on My Network TV)
* November 22, AM Raw (Saturday/2am on the USA Network)

He also has the homepage feature on WWE.com, where you can stream the song (click here). I can’t get it to work in my browser for some reason, but hopefully you guys have better luck.
