Our Story
Tiffany is a 24 year old who earned her Masters in Human Services in 2007, and she went on to work as a counselor and then a counseling coordinator for at risk youth. Kim is a 23 year old fashion school graduate. The two met on Idol Forums back in 2005 and found out they had many interests in common, including writing, graphic design and music. From there they put together their talents to launch the successful pop culture blog GirlsTalkinSmack.com in the fall of 2005. The next year, while watching Rockstar: Supernova, they discovered they once again had the same favorite….Ryan Star. But they realized Ryan wasn’t your run of the mill reality show star. They quickly realized that Ryan Star had a solid fanbase, but not one comprehensive fan site. Quickly they realized that with Tiffany’s graphic design skills, Kim’s coding knowledge and a mutual love for Ryan Star, it was obvious that they were the one’s to fill the gap in the fanbase.
RyanStarFans.com launched in September of 2006. Since the beginning, Leigh was an active commenter and often sent useful information to Kim and Tiffany. In August of 2007 they both decided to ask Leigh to become a staff member, and he agreed.
And they lived happily ever after…..
