You know an artist has made it when other musicians start covering their songs, so it’s very cool to see covers of Breathe popping up on the internet. I recently stumbled upon a good one from user IamSayer on Youtube:

So, the video gave me an idea — since Ryan’s official website has a fan videos, instead of submitting them to youtube, why don’t we submit them directly to his site? This is a fun and creative way to street team, and bring more attention to the song. And it’s not limited to bands or solo singers either; get your choir together or just a group of friends, film it and upload it here. Can’t wait to see what you all come up with!

Radio Sophie 103.7 is one of the top Hot AC stations in the nation, and Ryan’s song “Start A Fire” is the current champion! Today he’s up against Hanson, so VOTE VOTE VOTE!

Atlantic really made the PERFECT choice; this song is going to be huge! Ryan also talked with AOL Radio and explained why Start a Fire was one of the last songs for us long time fans to hear:

“It really infused a breath of fresh air into the album,” Star explains of adding ‘Start a Fire’ at the last minute. “It’s an exciting song. It’s unlike any other tune I’ve ever done and definitely not like any of the songs on ’11:59.’ I think it’s important that it’s there because if ’11:59′ is the blueprint for the rest of my career and the albums I’ll ever make, I think it’s good that we have a touch of each thing.”
